¨ABOUT OUR EXCELLENT REPUTATION AND TUITION ADVANTAGE¨

We enjoy an outstanding reputation in the community.

Numerous clients including triathletes, chiropractors, and directors of the best spas praise our graduates as having superior skills. Our classes and instructors are exceptional and loved by students.

We haven’t cancelled a class in over 6 years – an enviable record of stability, and our students have a stellar completion rate.

All Classes are only $5.60 – 8.90 per credit hour current tuition!

Compare first. Why pay as much as $15 per hour plus many fees?

Our students save hundreds on most classes,

and the quality of our classes is outstanding. Clearly this is the best value.

How is this possible? Unlike our competitors, we do not advertise heavily. Instead we offer outstanding tuition value as we enjoy a great reputation and word of mouth personal referrals. We have preferred to grow gradually, with integrity, and care a great deal about our student community. Take advantage of these great classes at this very low tuition available for a limited time. And please tell interested friends - helping this unique lower advertising/lower cost approach helps you.

Our Classes are Continually Rotated, of the Highest Quality and Better Designed

Scheduling is consistent typically on 2-3 weekday evenings and a weekend day so that you can go at a leisurely pace or intensively. We and our students believe that this is a great pace for most people, and going any faster reduces learning quality. The ample opportunities to integrate the learning with mutual practice are much appreciated.

We are known for balancing holistic subjects with solid thinking and excellent skills.

All classes and tuition are enroll and pay as you go for each quarter.

Enrollment is simply in the classes of your choice in the upcoming quarter. Financial Aid: In addition to our tuition being the best value in the area (the best form of financial aid), payment plans with no interest are available to qualified students. Call the office for details.

Transfers of previous training hours are possible – call to inquire.

Structural Bodywork

Structural Bodywork is a greatly useful and highly valued skillset. It helps improve posture, suppleness and mobility of tissues, and aids healthy decompression/elongation of the spine and entire body. Balanced bodies look taller and younger, are healthier, happier, and likely to function better longer. All bodies regardless of age have some shortened or stiffened connective tissue patterns due to various postural habits and accumulated traumas. These patterns rob us of ease and range of movement, as well as energy, often with little conscious awareness. In this class students will learn how to help each other and future clients feel more balanced and free in their movements through a set of hands on techniques addressing all major body areas. Students will get the double benefit of learning these highly valued skills while enjoying trading practice and improving their own bodies’ balance and ease. Learning this material also tremendously improves the quality of students’ general relaxation massage skills as they become much more aware and knowledgeable. Practitioners with advanced skills often charge 50% above average massage rates.

This class meets the core Advanced Bodywork requirement for the Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner programs. Students who have not taken the 100 hour level 1 and 50 hour anatomy classes previously, need to take them concurrently with this class as many students do. The anatomy class schedule is coordinated with this class to maximize practical usefulness and learning – this is greatly appreciated by students.

Instructors:

Henry Suri, HHP, Structural Integration Guild Certified, NCTMB, brings highly developed specialization in structural bodywork to his teaching. His approach is sensitive, gradual and effective. He will teach students to have much higher awareness of the client’s body and raise their bodywork skills to a level rarely achieved by most practitioners.

Anatomy For Massage and Bodywork

Every massage practitioner needs to know essential anatomy simply because anatomy is knowledge of the body. Our program focuses very effectively on useful anatomy – confidently knowing what is under the skin you are touching, while avoiding unnecessary information. This class reviews and builds on basic anatomy from level 1 massage. To maximize applied learning, the schedule is closely coordinated with the Advanced Bodywork class, so you review and work on the same body areas. This is a core required class for the MTh and HHP certificate programs, and combines with the anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology in other classes to total over 125 hours in the 500 hour MTh and 1000 hour HHP programs, which exceeds most standards including the national certification.

Pathology

Every massage practitioner needs to also know about common health conditions, which often influence the types of massage and bodywork that may help or be inappropriate. This important information will be covered in understandable and practical terms, engaging the students actively. This is a core required class for the current MTh and HHP certificate programs, and combines with the pathology and contraindications in other classes to total over 40 hours in the 500 hour MTh and 1000 hour HHP programs, which exceeds most standards including the national certification.

This class is a highly recommended elective for students who completed their MTh previously.
