Testimonials and comments from students:

Consistency and Integration: Most classes are scheduled weekday evenings and weekend days, with high consistency for your scheduling ease. This works better than having many short topics spread out widely in scheduling times, because your training is better integrated and it helps keep your costs down remarkably. Classes are off for one month summer holiday early August through early September, and two weeks for the winter holidays – these are the best times to plan extra long vacations, though we always do our best to accommodate work and family needs.

All classes count toward HHP. You may start with either Level 1A or 1B, or any class without pre-requisites.

Tuition and Related Policies

Massage Technician: $560 per 100 credit hour class

Massage Therapist 500 credit hours: Only $3790 total at current tuition.

Holistic Health Practitioner additional 500 credit hours with externship: Only $3760 additional (only $7540 total at current tuition for 1000 credit hours). Externships are usually paid, depending on the student’s individual arrangements with employers/mentors, thus adding even more affordability to our program.

Easy payment plans: No requirement to pay up front except for the class you are beginning! First Level 1 class is only $560. A standard one time registration of $100 is all that is required to be eligible for the low current tuition of $8.90 per credit hour for all other classes, except rare special elective seminars. (The unregistered general public rate is $1 more per credit hour.)

No obligations beyond the quarter, no interest charged. Simple and clear. If a student wishes to further split any class tuition payment and pay half of it midway through a class, just add 10%, or the 10% fee is waived if taking 200 or more hours in the quarter. If you choose to pay via credit card (Visa or Mastercard are accepted for your convenience), it is much like a monthly payment plan because it is usually not billed/due for a month or longer. Some student loans are also available to qualified students.

If you have looked elsewhere, you know that this is by far the best value and fairest approach available.

Books: Approximately $100-200 per 500 hours of program. Many free provided handouts greatly reduce book costs.

Massage Tables: $400-950 for set. You are responsible for your own linens and table, though alternatives are available until you get your table. To maximize your learning, plan on getting your table set sooner rather than later in your program. It is the essential tool for massage, and a good one will last you for decades.

Transcript/certificate: nominal fee of $15 per issuance.

*Because last minute registrations cause problems, previous and current students registering less than 5 days prior to first day of class results in 5% higher late tuition. New students are exempted from this policy for their first class as a courtesy.

Optional externship program fees: $2 per credit hour.

*Special limited Time Offer: No Transfer Fee for the first 100 hours of past learning that is applicable to our program (one time for new transfer students). Transfer students should meet with the director to discuss their eligibility and to design their studies to best suit their individual desires and goals. Standard transfer fees: $1 per hour.

Refund Policy: Cancellations need to be made in writing, and result in prorated refund for class hours remaining minus $50 class deposit/processing fee. The $100 one-time registration is non-refundable.  The student has a right to a full refund of all charges less the amount of $100 for the registration fee if he/she cancels enrollment prior to or on the first day of instruction. In addition, the student may withdraw from a course after instruction has started and receive a pro rata refund (minus $50 processing fee per class) for the unused portion of the tuition and other refundable charges if the student has completed 60% or less of the scheduled class instruction. For example if a student withdraws at the 50% point of a 100 credit hour $890 course, the refund would be $890 x .50 portion of the class paid for but not attended = $445 - $50 processing fee = $395 refund. Cancellations or withdrawals require a written notice mailed to C. Bo Milan, Director, Natural Success School of Holistics, 1106 2nd St. #630, Encinitas, CA, 92024. Refunds will be effective on the date notice is received, and mailed within 30 days of the cancellation or withdrawal.

Note that according to state policy non-residents of California and students whose costs are paid by a third party are not eligible for protection or recovery from the student tuition recovery fund.

Questions or problems should always be first addressed to the director of the school, C. Bo Milan, by calling (760) 635-1085, or in writing to him at 1106 2nd St. #630, Encinitas, CA 92024. Any questions or problems concerning this school which have not been satisfactorily answered or resolved by the school should be directed to the bureau for private postsecondary and vocational education, P.O. Institutional Information: The Natural Success School of Holistics was state licensed/approved six years ago, and registered with the national certification exam board as an institution training professionals and granting certificates in massage and holistic health. This catalog is in effect through August 1, 2008.

Frequently Asked Question: “Could you explain licensing levels and requirements?”

In most cities 500 or 1000 hours of training is required to practice independently, and 100-200 hours of training may make a student employable by a chiropractic office, spa, etc. with approved supervision. Some students choose to do that and earn while continuing to learn. The 1000 hour Holistic Health Practitioner has the most freedom in scope of practice, and the easiest licensing requirements. More education results in more respect and ease. Most of our students are from Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, Oceanside, Vista, and San Diego, and the above information generally applies to most of these cities with some variations. We do our best to help you understand and succeed. Students should request licensing information directly from the jurisdiction of their choice.

While we are very fair and consistent in practice, published information (including any errors) does not constitute an agreement nor contract, and information herein is subject to change without notice.
